Our Over 55s Programme

Happy Mondays

A fun range of activities and events for frailer older people, with guest speakers, taster sessions and regular outings to places of interest.

For people aged 60+

Monday 13:00 – 15:00 (by referral)


Pub Club

An easy-going meet-up for men down the local. Come along for a game of cards or dominoes and some good company. Drop-in!

For men aged 55+

Tuesday 16:00 – 18:00 at The Ship St Mary

Let’s Go For A Walk (dementia friendly)

Get your feet moving! Come along and explore the back streets and green spaces of Rotherhithe with us. Wear comfortable clothing.

Social Contact Group

A supportive environment for older women with mental health needs to socialise, chat and take part in regular social contact.

For women aged 60+

Strength & Balance

Learn how to keep fit and improve your strength and balance through gentle exercise.

For aged people 55+ ((drop in!)

VIP Club (Visually Impaired Persons’ Group)

A group for older people with a visual impairment to get together.

The Friday Social

The 60+ club for people who aren’t old! It’s a social club, full of chat, entertainment, activities & friendship. No two weeks are the same!

Make things, make friends. Geniuses and novices, get out of your chair and make a repair – with light refreshments.

Stroke Club

A supported social and self-help group for stroke survivors and their carers. People of all ages are welcome to come and participate in a wide range of social and health-related activities, and to receive advice and information on relevant topics.

Snap & Chat

A walking & photography group for men. We pick areas of interest in London, have a wander & take some pictures.

Rainbow Arts

An encouraging, fun and friendly art group. Learn drawing and painting techniques from a tutor; work on group projects and/or on your own work.
