We’re pleased to share that our 2024–2025 Annual Report is now available.
Each year, our report offers a chance to reflect on what we’ve achieved together, with our members, volunteers, partners and supporters, and to look ahead to the work still to do. This report captures a period of energy, growth and continued commitment to building a stronger, more connected community across Rotherhithe, Bermondsey and Surrey Docks.
A Year in Numbers
Over the past year:
- 6,886 contacts were made with Time & Talents members
- 5,232 people visited our website
- 96% of people surveyed said participating in a group or activity helped them feel part of a community
- 93% said they felt supported and included
- 91% said their well-being improved through taking part
These figures represent more than attendance or engagement; they reflect relationships built, confidence restored, and moments of joy shared.
Staying True to Our Mission
Throughout 2024–2025, we remained focused on our mission: increasing happiness and well-being, reducing loneliness, and creating shared experiences that bring people together.
In one of the UK’s most unequal boroughs, we continued to prioritise those most at risk of isolation. From supported social groups to community-led activities, we worked to ensure that no one has to feel excluded from the place they call home.
Our 2022–2025 strategy has guided this work through four key pillars: strengthening our community programmes, improving quality, investing in our people and spaces, and building long-term financial sustainability. This year also saw our team come together to reflect deeply on how our services connect, collaborate and create impact, reinforcing our commitment to continuous improvement.
Community at the Centre
What stands out most from this year is the strength of community voice. Across our survey responses, people told us that Time & Talents helps them:
- Meet people they wouldn’t normally meet
- Build friendships and relationships
- Feel more positive about their local area
- Experience happiness
Community doesn’t just happen, it’s built through everyday actions, shared space and mutual support. Our Annual Report is a celebration of that collective effort.
