Celebrate Nollywood 📽️
Action for Blood will be screening A Living Legacy, which stars veteran Nollywood actor, Jude Chukwuka and award-winning comedian, Mark Angel. Part funded by NHS Blood & Transplant, the film explores themes of loss, friendship, resilience and legacy as two Black families grapple with issues surrounding blood and organ donation. It Takes a Village
To celebrate Black History Month, CultureTree Centre are holding a free event at Time & Talents titled ‘It takes a Village’; an immersive celebration of African heritage and culture. African storytelling and singing for children, African drumming workshop and performance, mural workshop, and a collaborative song writing workshop for families. Light refreshments will be provided. Black History Month with TACC 📚
TACC (Therapy Accessible on Contact without Charge) invites you to a special day focused on well-being, a timeline of Black History in Britain, a short performance sketch, followed by a Q&A about mental health in the black community. There will also be fifteen minutes slot for head and shoulder massages provided by an expert massage therapist from Positive Spirit Massage. Open to all. Drop in.
