Time & Talents works with partners to make Christmas 2025 a memorable time for all ages 

Time & Talents has always had a mission to bring people together as a united community. In 2025, the organisation was thrilled to work with a variety of partners, service users, and volunteers to create a memorable Christmas for everybody. Read on for more on what happened below.

Christmas 2025 at Time & Talents

The season kicked off with our annual Christmas Party in mid-December, where hundreds of people from Rotherhithe, Surrey Docks, Bermondsey and beyond joined us for food, fun, and festivities.

Corporate partners lend a hand

Our corporate partners at East London Business Alliance were kind enough to donate 250 toys for children at Time & Talents over the holiday season. And our partners at Team London Bridge also donated 40 gifts for older people in our community and a further 50 gifts for kids.

At a Wrapping Day, held on December 17th, both T&T volunteers and corporate volunteers gave their time to help wrap all of these gifts to get them ready to distribute to the community. Mince pies were enjoyed and mulled wine was sipped, as more than 15 volunteers helped us to prepare the presents.

Once all of the gifts looked perfectly wrapped and ribboned, we then went about getting them to their homes. The 40 presents going to older people were delivered by another team of volunteers who took them to their homes via our rickshaws. People were very grateful to receive these presents, especially as many live with low mobility, so getting out and about can be difficult.

For all of the children’s gifts, we saw 70 families, many with multiple children, receive the donated presents to much excitement. One parent shared this with the team: “Thank you so much for the Christmas presents and your kindness. I feel less anxious about what is under the tree for the kids now.”

Final thoughts
