Every year, we welcome our community for a Christmas Party full of fun and festivities, and 2025 was no different. On 11 December, everyone from small babies to those aged 90+ joined us at The Old Mortuary for an afternoon of music, dancing, crafts, and mulled wine. Read on to see what went down.

Music and dancing in the hall
The event kicked off with a set by the wonderful John, who sang a range of Christmas classics to the older people in the hall. Guests enjoyed a good old-fashioned sing-along in between cups of tea, mince pies, and festive treats.
Next up, Yaa had everyone up and dancing in her dance workshop. Both young and old joined in to have a boogie and play some games together.
Kids got crafty
Local kids of all ages joined us for a range of Christmas crafts, where they made their own Christmas tree baubles, coloured in Christmas trees, and snacked on tasty treats. Many of the children wrote wishes for the holidays and we added them to our cardboard tree. There were even rickshaw rides for the little ones around the gardens.
But the main attraction was when Santa and his Elf came along and gifted them all some chocolate and candy!
The raffle
We wrapped up with our Christmas raffle, where more than 12 prizes were given away, including treatments from Body Tonic, football jerseys from our friends at Fisher FC, and a lovely Hug in Mug from The Brunel Museum.
