Local History Society

The aim of the Society is to encourage interest in the history of Rotherhithe, Bermondsey, the surrounding area, Docklands and River Thames.

Session:

7:45pm – 9:30/10pm on the last Wednesday of every month, except for June and August when members go on walks and December (which is mid-month and bit different!).

Anyone is welcome to join as a guest. Contact the Rotherhithe & Bermondsey Local History Society to sign up and become a member.

COVID-19 UPDATE

 

During the national lockdown, all face to face activities, groups and home visits are suspended.

 

The safety and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and users remains our priority and we continue to reduce risk of transmission and ensure that unnecessary risks are not taken. This means that members of the public are not allowed to enter the Old Mortuary building or use the toilet.

 

The team is working as usual and we continue to adapt our services and activities so that we can work safely to support our community.
