Organic Pilates

Tuesdays 6:30pm – 7:15pm; Drop-in; £5 on the door

Pilates is a form of exercise which improves flexibility, builds strength and puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance.

What makes it ‘organic’ is the way that our instructor, Oana, focuses on helping you feel comfortable working with your body: controlling your breathing, concentrating your thoughts and feeling the flow of one movement into the next.

The classes are suitable for adults of all ages and abilities. In good weather they might take place in the outside calm of the Wisteria Terrace; on cooler evenings it comes inside to the Varney Room.

Mats are available but please bring your own if you have one. Comfortable clothing for exercise should be worn.

Following Government guidelines, we are unable to provide our usual face to face services and activities or to provide drop-in on to one support.  The safety and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and service users remain our priority and we continue to reduce risk of transmission and ensure that unnecessary risks are not taken. This means that members of the public are not allowed to enter the Old Mortuary building or use the toilet.

We know that this is a hugely difficult time for our community, and we continue to do everything in our power to support our users and wider community.
