T&TpartylayoutTime & Talents is a thriving hub of community activity and innovation – we run a huge range of activities and imaginative events to bring everyone together in a unique part of South London. 129 years young this year, we are expanding and developing at pace, with a growing team formed of lively, passionate people who live to make our genuinely unique community buzz with activity.

As part of this expansion, we’re seeking someone who has talent, imagination, and creative flair, coupled with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, for this exciting new role.

The new Community Events and Activities Coordinator role will be at the centre of our engagement with new people in the area, including young families, young professionals, and newcomers from abroad. You’ll make sure we grow our exciting, constantly changing programme of new activities and imaginative public events that meets the needs and wants of our changing community. At the same time, in an area undergoing rapid demographic changes, you’ll help reduce community division – so you must know how to reach both the young and the old; the well-off and the very poor; long-time residents and short-term newcomers. That’s a tall order, but a fascinating challenge.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate, seek out and ‘curate’ activities to be delivered in the centre and beyond, with a special focus on engaging new audiences/ centre users
  • Plan and execute high quality public events for the whole community
  • Support local people to get new activities up and running, supporting their promotion, execution, and sustainability
  • Promote, oversee, and manage the private hire of our unique leafy heritage spaces


This is a role for someone who is driven and determined, with infectious enthusiasm, and who wants to make a real difference – in a genuinely unique London community. In many ways, the role is whatever your drive, imagination, and organisation can make of it.

Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum, plus 5% matched employer pensions contribution.

Hours: 37.5 per week.



During the national lockdown, all face to face activities, groups and home visits are suspended.


The safety and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and users remains our priority and we continue to reduce risk of transmission and ensure that unnecessary risks are not taken. This means that members of the public are not allowed to enter the Old Mortuary building or use the toilet.


The team is working as usual and we continue to adapt our services and activities so that we can work safely to support our community.
