Training: Helping People who have a Visual Impairment

Diane, one of our amazing visually impaired group members is trained in delivering VI awareness sessions & this week taught staff members at Surrey Quays all about supporting those with visual impairments. Here they are in action and thank you Diane!

Following Government guidelines, we are unable to provide our usual face to face services and activities or to provide drop-in on to one support.  The safety and wellbeing of our employees, volunteers and service users remain our priority and we continue to reduce risk of transmission and ensure that unnecessary risks are not taken. This means that members of the public are not allowed to enter the Old Mortuary building or use the toilet.

We know that this is a hugely difficult time for our community, and we continue to do everything in our power to support our users and wider community.
